Murders Most Horrid are a small friendly company based in the Lake District, who specialise in hosting high quality, action packed fun filled Murder Mystery Weekends.

Our selected Venues include Castles, Stately Homes and Country House Hotels, and locations are chosen for their stunning setting, wonderful architecture and unique history.

About You

On arrival at your chosen weekend event, you will need to pay particular attention to everything you see and hear, FROM THE MOMENT YOU ARRIVE, however insignificant you think it may be.

You will need a notebook and pen with you at ALL times.

All may not be as it seems…… The weekend could soon take a turn for the worse….. Are people really who they say they are…… You are encouraged to question everyone from the outset.

BEWARE, MURDERERS MAY BE AMONGST US…

During the weekend, there will be lots of time to interrogate suspects in an effort to uncover the truth. You will need to gather information by both listening to and following clues, in an effort to recognise and identify those responsible. On the last day, after final reviews, guests will be asked to present their theories as to who did what and why, then….. ALL WILL BE REVEALED.

Even if this is your first “Murders Most Horrid” weekend event, or you are indeed one of our seasoned detectives, you are guaranteed an exciting and fun filled weekend, if you survive of course.
